Love the app, but it keeps locking me out of my account

I love Tab for Reddit and really want to use it with my account, but every time I log in, Reddit tells me “You are doing that too much. Try again in ___ hours.” and I get locked out for hours at a time.

I even tried creating an alternative account to check and make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. Sure enough, I used Reddit on my desktop without any problems, and mobile worked fine too. As soon as I used Tabs for Reddit, I got the same message again; “You are doing that too much. Try again in ___ hours.” I can’t for the life of me understand what’s going on here. I’ve never had this problem before using the app today. No other app has ever given me this problem, whether desktop or mobile.

Please help! I want to use Tab for Reddit. I think it’s beautiful and as soon as this issue is resolved, I’d be more than happy to give 5 stars because it’s the best desktop client for Reddit I’ve ever seen. I just need help ASAP! Thanks!
